Shiv Chopra, a microbiologist from Quebec, believes that the new H1N1 swine flu vaccine is unsafe. Having worked on the “inside”, Dr. Chopra has seen, first-hand, how harmful drugs can reach the public, with government blessings.

Chopra, a drug evaluator for the Bureau of Human Prescription Drugs at Health Canada, became a whistle-blower in 1998 and 1999, when he testified before the Canadian Senate Standing Committee on Agriculture and Forestry.
Chopra testified, with 2 of his co-workers, that he had been pressured by senior supervisors to approve multiple veterinary drugs that had questionable safety for humans. The drugs in question included Bovine Growth Hormone.
The case was dismissed in 2003, Chopra was fired in 2004, and the case has been appealed. Dr. Chopra and his co-workers are recognized as the first whistle-blowers in the Canadian public service.
Chopra also warned the Canadian government, before the advent of Mad Cow Disease, that feeding practices in Canada were unsafe.
