President Obama Declares State of Emergency

President Obama has declared a state of emergency in the U.S. because of swine flu, even as information from non-government sources say that cases of TRUE swine flu are minimal.

Citing “millions of cases of infection country wide and “over 1000” deaths in the U.S., Barack Obama announced Friday evening (a time when presidents often make controversial announcements) that he has declared a state of emergency.

President Obama declares a state of emergency.

What does this mean for U.S. citizens? Obama, speaking in more general terms, did not exactly spell out the implications of his action. However, he did say that the move was implemented "in order to be prepared in the event of a rapid increase in illness across the nation that may overburden health care resources."

Health officials will now be able "to temporarily waive certain standard federal requirements in order to enable US health care facilities to implement emergency operations plans to deal with the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic in the United States."

In common terms, this means that:

  • Testing (what there is of it...) could be hastened even further—or just bypassed.

  • Adjuvants (even currently illegal in the U.S.) could be added as extenders to make the vaccines go further.

  • Triage could be initiated at a new level – someone could dictate HOW treatment options are decided. For example, people older than 55 might be denied treatment—so those younger could have access to equipment and medicine.

  • Vaccination could become mandatory for the common good. In other words, you could be committing a criminal act, punishable by fine and/or imprisonment if you don't get a swine flu vaccination. In theory, you would be in danger of getting and spreading the H1N1 flu to others—criminally.

  • Children might be barred from school if they didn't get the flu vaccine.

  • You could be sent to a detention center if you were found to have the swine flu in a public place.

  • The military could be activated to “keep the peace” on American soil (Never before has this happened!)

  • The military and police may be given the authority to search your home - without a search warrant.

There are, of course, many other possible consequences of President Obama's actions. Many are too frightening to dwell upon.

This is FACT, not fiction. The legislation has already been passed and is in place.

All that was necessary to have many of our rights taken away – was a simple declaration by the President of the United States—President Obama! And he did that—Friday night, October 25, 2009.

To protect your rights and the rights of your friends and family, you will need to be vigilant and stay abreast of any new developments! Make sure that you are aware of any new local, state or national "rules" that may affect you.
