Virus Prevention
Easy Cold and Flu Prevention

Virus prevention is not rocket science. You can protect yourself and your family by initiating home infection control and some very simple cold and flu prevention measures.

Both flu or influenza and colds are caused by a virus germ. They are contagious diseases, which means that they are spread easily through the air or by casual contact.

In other words, when someone who is ill with a cold or the flu, sneezes, coughs or even talks, the virus is expelled into the air—and anyone close by can inhale the virus germs and become ill.

In addition, a cold or flu virus can be spread by touch. If you shake hands with a person who has a cold or flu, you can get the virus on your hands.

Then, when you touch one of your mucous membranes (eyes, nose, mouth), your body becomes infected with the virus!

Simple Virus prevention measures can keep you free from colds and the flu.

The flu can cause fever, chills, aching, weakness, loss of appetite
and a sore throat, dry cough and burning eyes.
